Terms & Conditions

Before your on-line form will be submitted to Centrelink, you will need to confirm that you have read, understand and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, your on-line form will not be submitted to Centrelink.

  • You must have all rights necessary to submit the material in your on-line form (Material) to Centrelink and to agree to these Terms and Conditions (for example, because you created the Material yourself or have the permission of the person who did create the Material).
  • You must not submit any Material that
    • uses language or expresses ideas that are harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, discriminatory or obscene
    • is racially, sexually, ethnically, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable
    • names individuals in a negative way
    • is illegal
    • is deemed by Centrelink to be advertising
    • makes any false claim to represent a person or organisation
    • contains personal information about another person
  • You will continue to own all rights you have in the Material but you must allow Centrelink to use, publish, modify and edit, copy or otherwise reproduce, and transmit or otherwise distribute that Material, and to allow others to do any of these things.  In particular, Centrelink may in its discretion decide to:
    • publish (or at any time to remove from publication) any of the Material you submit, either on the Pulse website or in hard copy form; and
    • edit the Material to remove any part of it which contravenes Condition 1 above, or for length.

If you do not want Centrelink to publish or edit any Material you submit, you need to clearly state this in the ‘message’ section of the on-line form.

  • You waive all moral rights you have in the Material, and consent to Centrelink doing anything which would otherwise be in breach of your moral rights.  In particular, Centrelink may only identify you as the author of the Material using your first name.
  • You must not submit any Material which contains any virus, worm, "Trojan horse", time bomb, or similar contaminating or destructive feature.
  • If you contravene Conditions 1 or 5, Centrelink may take action to ‘block’ any further submission of Material by you.
  • Centrelink may change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
