Testing room Do you live in a remote or rural area?
If so, then you may have seen the Australian Government Mobile Offices come through your region, providing people and families with access to a wide range of government payments and services. Did you know that you can also access Australian Hearing services and have a hearing health check onboard the Mobile Offices for free?

Hearing loss affects people of all ages. More than half of Australians over 60 suffer from hearing difficulties. Having your hearing tested is the first step to improving your hearing and improving your quality of life.

The Mobile Offices have a purpose-built Hearing Room, where you can do a hearing health check by yourself in a matter of minutes. The Mobile Offices have a hydraulic lift to assist customers in wheelchairs, using walking frames, or those who have difficulties walking up stairs, so that everyone can access this service.

If you discover that you have a hearing problem, the Mobile Office staff will supply you with an Australian Hearing information pack. The information in this pack will guide you through the steps that you need to take.

If you would like a free hearing health check, take a look at the Mobile Office Schedule to find out if the Mobile Office will be rolling into your area in coming weeks.
