International Day of People with Disability
On 3 December every year International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is celebrated worldwide recognising the achievements and contributions of people with disability. Hosting an event on IDPwD is a great way to promote and celebrate the achievements and contributions of people with disability in our communities. There are many different types of events you can host, from karaoke singing competitions to art exhibitions, and you can involve your work colleagues, your school or the whole community—the options are only limited by your imagination!
Event registration is now open. All you need to do is go to www.idpwd.com.au and complete the event registration form.
You can now keep up to date with IDPwD on facebook and twitter.
For more information about organising your event or to see what other IDPwD celebrations are taking place this year, visit the events page at www.idpwd.com.au.
